Meet Sheila Lindermann

I was born and raised in Richmond, TX, and I’m proud to still call this community home. From a young age, I knew I wanted to make a difference in the lives of those around me. That calling led me to healthcare, and I began my journey at the very hospital where I was born. Starting as a receptionist, I worked my way through various roles in the business office, admissions, emergency room, and surgery center. Each position gave me a deeper understanding of how to support patients and their families in meaningful ways.

When I joined Hear Again America, I wasn’t sure if I would experience that same connection to people, but I quickly discovered just how life-changing hearing care can be. It’s incredibly rewarding to hear stories from patients who, after getting their hearing aids, are suddenly able to enjoy the sound of raindrops, birds singing, or the blinkers in their car again. One of the most touching moments is seeing how improved hearing helps reconnect someone with dementia to their loved ones.

As a Patient Care Coordinator, it’s an honor to play a small but meaningful role in those transformations. Helping people hear again has truly become one of the most fulfilling chapters of my healthcare journey.
