After a finance career in The United States Air Force, Rich found a love for helping patients connect with their loved ones again via hearing help. As he was going to school for accounting and finance, he unexpectedly found a job in the hearing career field, worked to get licensed, and ultimately got Nationally Board Certified as a Hearing Instrument Specialist on top of being a Hearing Aid Specialist. Hearing connects loved ones, and he takes pride and satisfaction in being able to counsel and restore relationships with friends and family due to hearing loss. He believes that empathy and understanding is the best way to get a patient over the proverbial "hump" of treating their loss.
Dr. Robert Morrison
Audiologist
Dr. Morrison earned a B.S. from Ithaca College in Speech and Hearing Sciences and his M.A. and Au.D. from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. He practiced clinically in Washington D.C. before joining a start-up hearing aid company in a national operations role and helping to expand the company into 9 states with 30 locations. He then joined Starkey Laboratories and functioned in both a Sales and Business Development capacity for the state of Florida for 6 years and became a recognized speaker and expert teacher of hearing aid technology prior to joining Hear Again America in 2016. Dr. Morrison owns Advanced Hearing Systems, LLC which he began in 2010 to install induction loop systems in public venues and private residences to assist the hearing impaired population stay connected socially and maintain the quality of life that they deserve. Bringing his clinical and business experience to Hear Again America, Dr. Morrison is focused on providing the best quality service and care in the industry for our patients through the private practice model- while offering the most advanced technology in the industry.
Trish Welliver
Patient Care Coordinator
Trish Welliver is the Patient Care Coordinator in our Port Charlotte location. Trish comes to us with 15+ years of experience as a Patient Care Coordinator. She is not only our Patient Care Coordinator, but she is also our Corporate Patient Care Coordinator Trainor. Trish is originally from Scituate, Massachusetts, and has lived in Florida since 2004. Trish can make everyone who walks through the door feel like family here in the Port Charlotte office. She enjoys engaging with all her patients and knows everything about them, and the patients know everything about her. This makes the office different from the other professionals in the Port Charlotte area. “I enjoy coming to work every day because the patients that walk into our office every day are going to get the best possible care from not only myself but from all of my coworkers as well, and that is something that I am extremely proud of.” -Trish Welliver.
