Meet Shani Spence, BC-HIS

Shani Spence is a board-certified hearing instrument specialist who has been dispensing hearing aids in the state of New Jersey since 2014 and board certified since 2016. Spence’s interest in the field of Audiology was first peeked during her high school career working with Harbor Haven Day Camp for children with developmental disabilities. These foundational moments spurred an interest in serving the hearing impaired community with a dedication and fervor that has existed ever since.

Spence is a former Division 1 cross country and track & field athlete that earned a Bachelor of Arts from St John’s University in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and completed graduate coursework in Audiology at Gallaudet University. Her 13 years working in the field applying patient-centered care along with evidence-based practices continues to be a testament to her staunch commitment to hearing health betterment”
