Meet Joyce Bean, M.S., CCCA

Joyce Bean, M.S., CCCA, is a hearing specialist who believes better hearing is about more than technology—it’s about reconnecting with the people and moments that matter most. With a Master of Science in Audiology from the University of Southern Mississippi and over a decade of diverse clinical experience, Joyce brings extensive expertise in the full hearing care journey, from comprehensive evaluations and identifying unique communication challenges to precise hearing aid fitting and long-term care. Her background includes work in ENT diagnostics, remote hearing care, professional training, and roles with national leaders such as HearingLife, and GN ReSound, as well as service supporting military readiness evaluations for veterans. Known for her collaborative, empathetic approach, Joyce excels at translating complex audiological information into clear, customized solutions that prioritize comfort and confidence for every client. She holds the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology, is licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina, and specializes in hearing aid dispensing, verification measurements, and aural rehabilitation. A longtime Charlotte (Ballantyne) resident, Joyce is proud to serve her local community and, outside the clinic, enjoys church activities, caring for indoor plants, and creative expression through photography and writing.
